The car was one of the most rare Matchbox Cars to collecting the 1960s. And you're not likely to see many 1960s Blister Pack Cards in this Incredible Condition again! Card and blister in Near Mint condition including UNcompromised blister. . But see images above for any minor flaws. * Will be stored and shipped in a hard plastic Protech protective case. Note: One of the most Rare 1960s Matchboxes as the #24 Rolls Royce was not issued until 1968 and only produced for two years 1968-69. Hence this may be the Only one in existence to be found in the original unopened blister pack. Certainly the only one is this Amazing NM-Mint Blister Card Condition. NOTE: This is an Original Blister Card, NOT a reproduction like has been appearing on eBay (very easy to tell the difference). For those of you seasoned and knowledgeable Matchbox collectors, you already know how Rare a find this is. But for those who don’t here is a brief history:On any given day you can find hundreds of vintage match boxes on eBay, mostly beat up examples. With the original boxes makes them more desirable. But what has been particularly Hot in Demand are the Unopened Blister Card pack matchboxes of which are quite Rare. But what are the most rare and desirable are the Unopened blister packed Matchboxes, the most desirable are the Fred Bohner 59 and 65 cent packages including the original boxes, that were issued between 1964-1969. Many of the original 1964 series models were discontinued and replaced in 1968. For example, the elusive Ambulance #14 discontinued in 1968 has been Nonexistent in a blister pack. I’ve searched for over 10 years and none of the seasoned blister pack collectors and sellers have ever seen one.*Meanwhile, there are certain blister pack cards that are relatively common and worth less. Seasoned Collectors know exactly which Matchbox blaster card packs are common and appear for sale regularly. For example the Horse trailer, blue wagon, and others are very common and will sell for less than $100 in the blister pack whereas an Ambulance will sell for over $500. The more Rare blister packs even more. I’ve seen the most rare and desirable sell for over $1000. * NOTE: We will be listing several vintage blister packs over the coming weeks from my personal 30 year Collection. The more Rare issues, NOT the common Blistered Matchboxes you often see listed on eBay. Each one wil be stored in a hard plastic Protech protective case. What also makes a huge difference in value and desirability is the Card's condition. Much like baseball cards, Collectors will pay much more for blister cards in Near Mint condition. Like THIS ONE! Yes, the blister cards are worth Much more then the cars themselves. I suspect it’s just a matter of time before grading services like PSA add high grade Matchbox Blister Cards to their service offering, and auction houses jump on the Matchbox /Hot wheels Blister Card bandwagon. . (Condition: Pre-Owned)
